Karen Keller Grad Reaps Rewards in Money and Time
At her 2006 Watkins Memorial High School graduation, Karen Keller walked out of high school with 27 hours of college credit and enrollment in the management and marketing program at Central Ohio Technical College. Her Tech Prep pathway had already saved more than $2500 dollars in fees and at least two quarters of class time.

"College Tech Prep prepared me very well for my courses here," she said. "The savings in time and money are outstanding and I really felt ready for college."
Karen's mother, Sue, a Kirkersville Elementary library aide, enthusiastically agrees. "Karen's work in Tech Prep at WMHS was just what she was looking for. To be able to remain at the high school, participating in activities and sports, and still receive this high-level training with college credits was wonderful. She entered college well-prepared and really likes the small college feeling at COTC. The money and time she's saving makes Tech Prep an unbeatable program. We would recommend it to anyone."
